The VISION of the Alpha Upsilon Foundation:
To become the premier Greek letter Foundation in its resources and services to the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the students of Kentucky State University.

The MISSION of the Alpha Upsilon Foundation:
To provide support for Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, it’s members and other students of Kentucky State University with particular emphasis on fellowship, mentoring and scholarship.

THE ALPHA UPSILON FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

The Alpha Upsilon Foundation is a non-profit tax-exempt corporation founded by the alumni members of the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. to provide financial assistance to deserving minority students attending Kentucky State University. The scholarships are typically one-year grants ranging from $250-$1,000 and are renewable. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, community service activities and financial need.

Eligible applicants must:

1. Plan to enroll full-time in Kentucky State University for the upcoming Fall term

2. Have a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale

3. Be active in community service activities

SCHOLARSHIP USES

Toward academic expenses, including tuition, books, and course-related fees for 

undergraduate and graduated degree programs. 

During any term in the academic year for which they are awarded. Unused scholarship dollars must be returned to Alpha Upsilon Foundation and cannot be held by the recipient for future academic study.
 

Full-time or part-time study.
